I've heard the James Patterson Masterclass is very useful. Thanks for sharing! Wholeheartedly agree on keeping descriptions minimal--huge blocks of text tempt readers to skim.

And if the character can interact with or have opinions on those descriptions, rather delivering it all in narrative, even better.
