I support storytellers.

With 15+ years of experience as an editor, my passion is helping new authors navigate the daunting task of shaping a good story into a publishable manuscript.

I run Edits Underway, providing professional editing services such as beta reading, critique, developmental editing, and copyediting services to help authors bring their manuscript's full potential to light.

I specialize in the following genres: women's fiction, contemporary fiction, creative nonfiction on travel and culture, and fiction with elements of romance. My reading tastes run wide, though, and I've helped authors in many other genres.

As a writer myself, I know the unique challenges authors face and the sheer dedication it takes to get through each draft. I'm a champion for new authors, and love nothing more than witnessing other authors meet their goals.

I'm a returning Royal Palm Literary Award judge and an award-winning author. To keep my skills fresh, I'm an active member of ACES: The Society for Editing, the Editorial Freelancers Association, the Florida Writers Association, and the Women's Fiction Writers Association.
